struggle

I've struggled this entire school year in Calculus AB and I'm glad to say my average in there will be an 80. I couldn't be more proud of myself for not giving up or dropping the class like countless others did. Next year will be Calculus BC and I am ready! All of my other AP classes had rigorous workloads but the classes were easy to ace if you did your work. Nonetheless, I am proud. Next year will be the same but my second year in AP classes will seem like a breeze. I'll definitely be ready for AP exams. besides the school year, my life hasn't been easy but with time it will get better right? All I know is that my mom, my boyfriend, my best friends, and family keep me sane; my brother drives me INSANE. haha

:(

Today was the last day of school. I sat under the tree near the gym with my boyfriend just like the first day of school and we said "we made it through a year". It got me thinking about how in another year he'll be a senior and it will be my last goodbye- to him and everyone else. As much as being at school was a pain, I'm going to miss my friends regardless. All those inside jokes and ridiculous moments. Haha but who am i kidding? It's SUMMER! On a lighter note, I'm watching Sex In The City tonight! Yay! After that, I will be staying up all night having long conversations from twelve until eight in the morning like i did regularly last summer.

end of school

Today was the last full, regular day for Grand Prairie High. Being a sophomore, i have to take finals even though i could very well be exempt from everything. I'll see most of my friends again in all classes. One more glimpse of those losers i call friends won't hurt at all. I don't doubt that i'll see them for days on end during the summer. Speaking of which, YES! Summer is here and my cousin is queer :) Kidding. Can you say movies, mall, parties, vacation, FUN? First on the agenda is sleep and running. I'm catching up on my sleep and running miles at night or in the morning. SUMMER08 will be great!

oops

I completely forgot to post all of my blogs. This year has flown by so fast and I'm sad to see some seniors go. I'm sure I'll be crying next year when every 09' graduate leaves. I have several great friends in that graduating class. Counting up all the credits i have received so far this year totaled to 18 or 19. This meaning next year may just very well be my senior year. But, because I wasn't born from rich folk, I need scholarships. There is a fifty fifty chance of graduating early and graduating regularly. I'd like to get a head start but I'd like to end school with the few friends I've grown up with- my best friends.

the zoo :)

The zoo was so fun. You'd think four kids from the ages of 2 - 6 would be a hassle but to our surprise, and apparently every person we passed, we did great. I guess my boyfriend and i looked like a young couple with four kids. Haha. We had the weirdest looks. Either their stares were long and hard or bizarre and uncomfortable. The worst part of the day was entering the place that contained the reptiles. I hate snakes and a python just so happened to be the first thing i saw as i opened the door. All four, small hands were pulling me to see the snake while i tried hard to escape. The kids were laughing, giggling, oohing, and ahhing and i was trying hard not to faint. Yuck. The best part would be when the girls told me "the lion is barking".The day ended with pizza, hamburgers, and a goodbye hug from the four kiddos.

Summer 2008

I couldn't be more excited for summer 2008. A school year has already flown by and it feels like just yesterday i was running to get to the portables on the opposite end of the school! Oh well, enough nostalgia for now, summer awaits! If mother dearest permits, I will be on my way to Florida in mid-June. Cool. What is even more amazing is, I'm going to the Death Cab For Cutie concert June seventeenth! Now, that's exciting! Summer 2008 will be as amazing as last year- sweet, sunny, lazy summer days filled with action-packed fun. Hopefully, I can continue to cherish those summer nights sitting on the porch talking to, none other than, my boyfriend. Oh and the ice cream- I can't forget the ice cream!
